Wintery Weather

Yes!! Finally some wintery weather - we were even graced with some snow late Boxing Day night, which I loved! 

There's nothing better than dressing for the colder weather. Lots of layers, cosy hats and oversized coats. I was lucky enough to get a few days off over the Christmas Period so I spent them eating lots of food, drinking lots of wine and enjoying a few wintery walks. 

This oversized jumper was very comfy after over indulging and these boots have to be the best purchase I have ever made. They were a pay day treat a few weeks ago but it was LOVE at first sight so I had to have them. I finished the look off with a super cosy beanie - a winter must have.

I'm now looking forward to New Years Eve - keep posted for an outfit post featuring lots of sparkle.

Spring is in full swing

Spring is in full swing, the blossoms are out and yes the sun is shining and whilst taking these photographs I was even able to remove my jacket and scarf  (I've been holding on to them rather tightly) and don just a short sleeve tee! So spring has had me feeling rather excited and enthusiastic about life. Waking up to a sun filled room makes it much easier to get out of bed in the mornings.

A spring clean has begun, this involved throwing out far to much paperwork that has been burred under piles of magazines on my desk for weeks. You know this feels good, or is that my OCD/ perfectionist side coming out? This has been done whilst listening to Radio 1 and drinking too many cups of Chai tea.

My university lectures have now come to an end (Yes I know its only April) and I have four weeks off for Easter! *frantically reads exam revision notes.  

Easter weekend plans......firstly a much needed date day with my Boyfriend, lots of spring outfit photos for the blog and if I have chance a few glasses of Pinot Grigio.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Yes, on Sunday I actually had a day off.... from work, uni, and anything else that happens in what feels like my 24-7 non-stop life.

After a few hours of studying in the morning me and my boyfriend went for a stroll around my local woods. All wrapped up in my winter apparel (cable knit jumper and trusty 200 denier tights), I strolled around the woods taking some lovely photo's of the wintery surroundings. I just love this time of year the world looks so raw and stripped back, natural. 

I rather awkwardly posed (avoiding dog walkers) for a few outfit photographs, something I have wanted to do for sometime and just haven't had the chance. A little embarrassed at first but I enjoyed it and I am pleased with the outcome. 

What would one do without a willing boyfriend (thank you Mark) and a handy camera.

Today I'm Wearing.....

Oh what a windy day.....  
Mr weather has been very unpredictable today wind, sun and rain all in one day. The wind is giving me wild hair!
