These beautiful photographs were quickly spotted whilst flicking through a copy of this months Nylon magazine in the university library, hence the poor image quality. I love how the camera has caught the models natural beauty.

City of Love
If you follow me on Instagram you will already know that I recently returned from 3 nights in Paris. This is my second visit to the city of love and I couldn't wait to explore Paris again - this time with with Boyfriend in tow.
We decided to stay airbnb on our trip - if you are not aware of airbnb its where local people rent out their home to us tourists. I was a little dubious at first, but staying airbnb was so reasonably priced and we got a 'living in Paris' experience and I would definitely recommend it. Our airbnb (cosy Parisian studio) was located in Buttes-Chaumont a beautiful area full of bars, restaurants, bakeries, cafes and more.
With only three days in the city we wanted to see as much as possible, The Eiffel Tower, the lourve, Latin Quarter, Montmartre, Père Lachaise Cemetery, Parc des Buttes-Chaumont and so much more. Paris is huge and no matter how many times I visit I'm sure there will always be more to see. I love taking the metro which is so easy to navigate, great for getting to places quickly and excellent for people watching - Parisian people are so effortlessly elegant no matter what they wear.
What made my weekend in Paris even more amazing was my wonderful Boyfriend of 10 years PROPOSING!!!!
Images from the top - The Eiffel Tower and views, Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, Père Lachaise Cemetery, the Lourve, Jourdain - our local metro stop, Montmartre Flea Market, amazing Snails and 2 kilo of Steak at L'Escargot, Buttes-Chaumont, outfit from my last night in Paris and views from our airbnb.

A love affair with Elle
(Winona Ryder cover - July 2009, Kirsten Dunst cover -
September 2011, Drew Barrymore cover - October 2006 (21st Birthday
collectors issue), Kate Hudson cover - October 2010 (25th Birthday
collectors issue), Emma Watson cover - December 2014.
As you can see from the photographs above I've been collecting my beloved Elle magazine for a number of years. If you follow me on Instagram you'll know that I recently moved house and transporting my collection was a challenging task - there are eighty five of them after all. The journey from my family home to the new pad involved my boyfriend suggesting using them as kindling for the log burning stove. Ha! How dare he, they are my pride and joy! The conversation ended with me saying I will literally be the girl who lived in her Elle Magazines.
I have read a variety of magazines in the past from Cosmopolitan to Vogue but Elle has always been my monthly staple. For the last few years Santa has been kind enough to supply me with a subscription giving me exclusive subscriber covers delivered straight to my door. Elle has something every girl or women can relate to - beautiful fashion shoots, street style edits, inspirational writing and one of my favourite monthly columns - Fit Notes.
Elle is constantly exciting its readers, a recent design change both in my monthly glossy and online look fantastic. Elleuk.com offers readers an insight into the #ellefashioncupboard a space filled with designer delights. I can't get enough of the What Elle Wears feature, each week the beautiful Elle team are photographed in their work attire. I will no doubt be reading Elle for the next ten years and I can't wait to see how the magazine develops.
*note to self - where am I going to keep them?

Beside the seaside
Shirt and Top | Topshop. Shorts | Levi's. Bag | Warehouse. Shoes | Superga. Sunglasses | Claire's.
A very rare Saturday off work called for a road trip with the boy and where better than the Great British seaside. My favourite Yorkshire seaside town has to be Whitby, a beautiful little fishing town on the North coast.
I love Whitby for its antique shops, pretty cottages, great Fish and Chips and of course the rainbow coloured beach houses.Whitby is mainly known for being the place were Bram Stoker wrote his horror novel Dracula. The town definitely has a spooky, historic feel with cobbled streets, quirky shops and amazing ruins of Whitby Abbey.
Luckily Saturday was warm and Sunny so all the great seaside tasks were carried out, picnic, walk on the beach etc.... all in all a lovely day was had. Till next time Bonn Voyage Whitby.

Amongst the Greens and Blues
Dress and Shoes | Topshop Sunglasses | Claire's Accessories
This weekend we were greeted with some beautiful sunshine.....yey. It was definitely time to leave the long sleeves and tights behind and embrace the warmer weather. My favourite summer dress made it's way from the depths of my wardrobe, t-shirt style check, denim check, blue check, stripes check, it really does meet all the criteria of the perfect dress.
Topshop have designed some more great denim t-shirt dresses, great for this Spring|Summer season take a peak here.

Casual Friday
Denim Shirt | Vintage. Jeans | New Look. Shoes | River Island |
I'm afraid I've never worked in an office environment and never appreciated casual Fridays, (unless non uniform at school counts) but I can imagine this is something one might wear on a day very close to the weekend. Cool, comfortable and casual.....slip on a pair of heels and you've done desk to the bar with just a hop, skip and a jump.
Anyway double denim seems to be my go-to-outfit at the moment, this couldn't be more classic(for me anyway), skinny jeans, denim shirt (boyfriends) and patent loafers.
The blog posts have become rather sparse recently, this may continue for the next couple of weeks due to looming uni deadlines *sobs quietly in the corner. I've certainly ready to say au revoir for a few months.

Sartorial through the camera lens
The Sartorialist by Scott Schuman was the first great photography blog I ever came across. You can see everything though his camera lens. Fashion, life, art......to name a few. Originally for me it was always about the clothes but after 4 years of following it has turned into something else, reading both his books may have impacted on this. Yes the clothes are still amazing, the people still stylish, but there's just something else about them....he captures something natural, something real.
'My interest is never to report on what people are wearing but in capturing my romantic take on what I have seen on the street. I find myself wanting to understand these individuals better. The result is the introduction of more tightly composed portraits that bring me closer to the true essence of the person whilst still capturing them as stylish subjects.'
Scott Schuman, The Sartorialist
After flicking through The Sartorialist Closer for many hours over the past couple of months. I have found some great images to love.
The Sartorialist is a must see, take a peak here
