Yes that is PVC!!

Top | Topshop here. Skirt | Primark similar here. Coat | H&M similar here Boots | Topshop (old).

Yes, your eyes are not deceiving you that is a PVC skirt! Since the last post I've spent many evenings surfing the space we call the worldwide web for trend inspiration and I've come across lots of sixties and seventies stuff, which I love. But I'm not sure I'm ready to don a pair of flares and a silk shirt just yet. Instead I stumbled across this bargain A-Line in Primark for £3!! I know steal or what??
Starting off simple with stripes, tights and boots!
Happy Sunday peeps!

Blooming Florals

Skirt (here), Boots (here) and t-shirt (here) | Topshop. Coat | H&M. Scarf | Market. Clutch bag | Vintage.

Happy New Year!!
So its time for that new year, new me stuff....come on deep down does that really work?  I'm just gonna keep the faith and be positive - as much as I can anyway. This may be difficult with a university deadline fast approaching!
Most of my outfit posts lately have consisted of lots of grey, black and navy blue (boring or classic?) so my fashion mantra for 2015 is to get more creative with my style. Here's starting with a mix of old and new - quilted florals! I'm excited to mix some colour and print into my personal style this year.
My usual style mainly consists of classic pieces with a casual twist but I'm dying to try something new. I've not always been a follower of trends but this year I would love to try out a few - maybe the 1970's thing, florals or uniforms. People watch this space!!

Wintery Weather

Hat (here), Boots (here), Bag and Jumper | Topshop. Coat | H&M. Jeans | New Look.

Yes!! Finally some wintery weather - we were even graced with some snow late Boxing Day night, which I loved!
There's nothing better than dressing for the colder weather. Lots of layers, cosy hats and oversized coats. I was lucky enough to get a few days off over the Christmas Period so I spent them eating lots of food, drinking lots of wine and enjoying a few wintery walks.

This oversized jumper was very comfy after over indulging and these boots have to be the best purchase I have ever made. They were a pay day treat a few weeks ago but it was LOVE at first sight so I had to have them. I finished the look off with a super cosy beanie - a winter must have.
I'm now looking forward to New Years Eve - keep posted for an outfit post featuring lots of sparkle.

Last minute christmas gift guide...

It's only two more sleeps till the big day and I'm sure many of you are still frantically looking for the perfect gift idea. I myself usually leave my shopping till Christmas eve but this year I'm somewhat organised - this is a surprise I have to say.
I have put together a small selection of gift ideas which I'm sure any girl would love.

The Sartorialist Closer book - this was a gift I received from my sister last year, it's perfect for style inspiration.
The Body Shop Hemp Protector range is perfect for this time of year it smell gorgeous and leaves your hands super soft.
Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Prosecco - A girl always loves bubbles and what better way to celebrate the festive season.
Topshop Leggings - These sparkly leggings are sure to get any girl in the dancing mood and no doubt grab some attention whilst sipping a cocktail or two.
Claire's Accessories Nail Polish - I love a dark nail colour during the winter months, these three colours (teal, ruby and magenta) are my favourites.

This Christmas I'm going to be spending some quality time with family and friends and no doubt indulge in way to much food and drink. *note to self - if anyone asks I had two mince pies not three.
Merry Christmas
With Love

Pinstripes and Pom Poms

Coat and Shirt (here) | H&M. Denim Jacket | Levi's (vintage). Trousers (here) | Dorothy Perkins. Shoes (here) and Bag. Topshop.

It all go at the moment hence the lack of blog posts! But I did manage to snap these somewhat formal pictures this cold (but sunny!) Saturday Morning. Yes - I've been buying more shoes this time its these ever so adorable velvet slippers with the cutest little pom poms!!
Teamed with a new pair of pinstripe trousers and oversized white shirt I felt a little Mia Wallace (AKA Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction). It you haven't seen this cult classic its a must see. Possibly Quentin Tarantino's best work, plus you must see the dancing scene at Jack Rabbit Slim's Dinner - just brilliant!
