Are you ready for the party season? The festive season is here once again therefore it's time to don our glad rags for whatever parties lay ahead. This year I plan on doing it a little different, instead of shedding loads of cash on new outfits (that will probably get dusty in the closet for the rest of the new year) - I've purchased just a few accessories to uplift my old/current pieces. I've then been scouring street style articles and Pinterest for inspiration and ideas for how to style said pieces. I like to take casual, everyday sartorial and add sparkle or glam in anyway possible - glittery socks or sheer tights and sandals are a current favourite. I'm also loving heavy gold jewellery and textured blazers!

Last minute christmas gift guide...
Left to Right - The Sartorialist Closer | The Body Shop hemp hand protector and moisturising hand wash | Sainsburys Taste the Difference Prosecco | Topshop Leggings | Claire's Accessories Nail Polish selection.
It's only two more sleeps till the big day and I'm sure many of you are still frantically looking for the perfect gift idea. I myself usually leave my shopping till Christmas eve but this year I'm somewhat organised - this is a surprise I have to say.
I have put together a small selection of gift ideas which I'm sure any girl would love.
The Sartorialist Closer book - this was a gift I received from my sister last year, it's perfect for style inspiration.
The Body Shop Hemp Protector range is perfect for this time of year it smell gorgeous and leaves your hands super soft.
Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Prosecco - A girl always loves bubbles and what better way to celebrate the festive season.
Topshop Leggings - These sparkly leggings are sure to get any girl in the dancing mood and no doubt grab some attention whilst sipping a cocktail or two.
Claire's Accessories Nail Polish - I love a dark nail colour during the winter months, these three colours (teal, ruby and magenta) are my favourites.
This Christmas I'm going to be spending some quality time with family and friends and no doubt indulge in way to much food and drink. *note to self - if anyone asks I had two mince pies not three.
Merry Christmas
With Love

Goodbye 2013.... Bonjour 2014
My Christmas on Instagram
Wrapping gifts, gingerbread latte's, reindeer jumpers and gifts from Santa
Christmas really crept up on me this year (most of my Christmas shopping was done a mere two days before Christmas) guessing that's due to my busy schedule.
I just love Christmas, starting with tree trimming and mulled wine, receiving gifts from Santa, time with family and friends, that traditional church visit and singing Christmas carols. I just love to get the festivities in full swing.
Plenty of Christmas movies have been watched (ask my boyfriend he's defiantly had enough of watching Home Alone on repeat). But whats the season without Elf, Home Alone 1&2 and Trading Places.
Copious amounts of wine and champagne has been drank, dancing around my sisters kitchen to the best Christmas songs was involved. Santa was also kind to me this year bringing me some beautiful gifts, candles, make-up, The Sartorialist Closer, a book I've been wanting for some time and the most gorgeous lime green coat which will brighten up any cold, dark winter day.
I hope you Christmas has been as special as mine and Santa remembered to fill your stockings with wonderful surprises.
2013 has been a great year, its been a time for change, starting university and meeting new people. Writing on this blog has been the best part, I've really got into the swing of writing freely and passionately about everything that I love in and out of the fashion world.
Next stop 2014, time for a fresh start? Maybe make a resolution? I really do try but only to fail two days in. Oh I do have one, to learn a Language, French being my chosen one. Weather or not I will succeed is the question at hand but whats one to know without trying.
Happy 2014
