Lately

So I've become somewhat non existent on the blog recently - I do apologise. I'm currently on my way to hand in my second to last assignment brief - YIPPEE!!!

I really can't believe I've almost completed my second year at uni, if I'd had blinked I would have missed it! Luckily amongst the last stressed filled couple of months their has been some high points and that being gaining an industry placement for my sandwich year. I'm going to be working in supply chain and learning about ethical auditing within the fashion and manufacturing industry. I've loved the last two years at uni but I'm definitely excited to start gaining some much needed hands on experience. Hopefully it will also give me more chance to focus on the blog too. Casuals

My daily life has lately consisted of casuals, in actual fact when it comes to dressing up I start to panic. Yes I do own smart (going out) clothes but the majority of my wardrobe is casuals. I always believe your clothes/style reflects your lifestyle and been a student has resulted in a wardrobe compiled of jeans, trainers and t-shirts.

*note to self purchase a going out top (if that's still a thing) ASAP!

So whilst I should be doing uni work I find my self procrastinating by surfing the web looking for shoes. Whilst scrolling that's when I realised - I don't own a pair of cute ankle booties! 

There's something about the ankle boot that makes me think - I need you. 

I have been justifying purchasing one of these pairs all afternoon. You know the usual, cost per wear, go with all outfits....the list goes on.

So this happened...

Usually Paris Fashion Week finishes with all talk of the Chanel show or Kim and Kanye's front row looks, but not this season. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson AKA Derek Zoolander and Hansel McDonald wowed the crowds at the Valentino show to promote a second instalment of the movie Zoolander. 

For the last few days my instagram stream has been pretty much overloaded with pictures and videos of these two. They may have pretty much 'broke the internet'!!
